Are you letting go or suppressing the pain?
❛You will find that it is necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy. So let them go, let go of them. I tie no weights to my ankles.❜ — C. JoyBell C.
Do you or someone you know live or work in a relationship that has some level of trust issues, has an element of boredom, or flareups of Jealousy? Maybe you feel invisible, not heard or unworthy, not good enough to participate, or perhaps you feel that you give more than you receive and keep finding yourself in unbalanced situations. You might just want to stay in bed today and stop the world for a moment, not wanting to play this game anymore.
And then, someone has the audacity to tell you to simply let it go!
If you believe letting it go means to push down the pain and to just get on with it, you are creating a powder keg that will, someday, explode. You are creating stress for yourself that may be showing up as health issues, emotional outbursts, or moments of depression. You are attaching baggage to carry through life that just gets heavier and heavier.
And yet, letting go is not so simple because it requires that you get in touch with who you are at your core. It means you need to come face to face with root causes of your pain. It means you take responsibility for your choices and own your results. It means you need to change your beliefs, make conscious choices, and be accountable for your outcome. It means you need to forgive from your heart and love who you are. It means detaching from what you know to be true right now and creating a whole new reality reflecting your deepest desires.
It is work and it is pretty scary stuff, right?
But It doesn’t mean you have to do this alone.
